Richly textured Laundry/Mudroom

This project centered on creating a new laundry/mudroom by borrowing a small footprint from the existing garage. The redesign allowed for a new entrance from the driveway, a custom-built bench and storage zone for shoes and hanging, a new closet for jackets, relocation of the washer and dryer, and custom cabinetry for additional storage. We also built a custom sliding ladder to access the upper cabinets, a custom handrail for the short run of stairs, installed a tongue-and-groove ceiling with a high-gloss finish, and helped select a truly unique wallpaper for the walls. A heated tile floor added comfort for year round use.
